The hotel is located just next door to the mountains, Jabal Akhdar, and the hillside. The property staff was very amiable and attentive.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in the mountains of the Jebel Akhdar region of Oman. The location is simply incredible, situated on a hilltop that can only be accessed by foot. The hike up the steep mountain side adds to the adventure of staying here. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, offering a unique and picturesque setting. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were great, including Wi-Fi for those who need to stay connected. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. this hotel offers a truly unforgettable experience in a stunning mountain location.

We had an exceptional stay at Suwgra in the ancient village. The owner lovingly rebuilt the facilities, respecting the existing architecture. The warm welcome and hospitality were outstanding. The delicious meals cooked by the family and the fire set up on our private terrace made our experience even more special. Highly recommended!

I had the most incredible experience staying at this mountain retreat. The authenticity of the houses and staff truly transported me back in time to the village's roots. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the mountains and surrounded by nature. If you're a fan of mountains and don't mind a bit of walking, you'll be in heaven here. The staff's hospitality was beyond compare, as they treated me like family throughout my stay. I also loved the simple, yet delicious, homemade Omani food served for breakfast and dinner. It was such a convivial experience dining with other guests and hearing the fascinating stories of the place from Mohamed and his relatives. The rooms were comfortable and authentically designed, providing a cozy atmosphere for a good night's rest. Plus, the host was always ready to assist with any requests and ensured that everything in the rooms was up to par, including providing complimentary tea, coffee, and water.

While I had an amazing time at Suwgra, I must admit that the price quality ratio was a bit on the higher side. It's understandable that due to the remote location, arrangements can be more challenging and expensive, but for the price I paid, I expected a certain standard to be met.
